Always wondered where your jewellery is made?
where your jewellery is made
I sketch all designed here in Australia I put all final designs into my sketch book, but sometimes ideas can pop into my head at any time of the day, its a bit of a crazy process that goes on in my mind. The best way to explain it is how you can picture an outfit on in your head, but then when you actually put that outfit together and get to try it on its either a yay or nay!

Its the same process for me but with jewellery and accessories. I'll have this awesome idea and i'll start sketching it down, I then sometimes don't love it or I stop feeling that feeling you get when you think its an amazing idea. And sometimes that sketch will sit there unfinished for months until I look at it again, sometimes it just get erased and other times new ideas flow from just looking at it and it turns it something completely different.

I Have so many designs in my sketch book and when I say sketch book as in 1 I means about 3 haha and sometimes I look through all the sketch books and designs and see what i've done and get inspo from there, also I get my inspiration from other designers or even from a clothing outfit, it could be from seeing a lady where nice earrings and then all these ideas flood into my head and I just wanna sketch.

The next step
I measure all the sketches up to the mm, I then send pictures of the sketches & measurements to my Manufacture in UBUD BALI. They then make wax moulds, I approve them or make changes and then Samples are made & shipped to me in Australia.

I then assess each sample and decide weather or not its going into each new collection.

THEIR CRAFTSMANSHIPS & TALENT
From the beginning of my brand, the art of hand crafting was important to me, and my first creations were handmade jewellery by myself. Working with these Artisans in Bali was a dream come true, From seeing my designs in my head and what I drew on paper to how they look when I receive the samples is amazing watching my intricate designs come to life whilst knowing our work together supports a tradition and craft that maintains a family & Cultures livelihood.

FAQ'S Fingerprint Jewellery

What is fingerprint jewellery?

Fingerprint jewellery captures the unique print of a loved one, preserving their essence in a custom piece made just for you. It’s perfect for cherishing memories or celebrating milestones

Can I use my pet's print?

Yes, we can create beautiful fingerprint pieces using prints from pets, dog paws and nose prints are most popular, you can also do the same for your cat and any other animal really that has a surface to imprint on.

How long does the process take?

Once I receive your impression kit back, it takes 15-20 days to complete your custom jewellery, each piece is handmade by me, Janella.

Are there specific instructions for taking the impressions?

Yes, we provide a detailed guide with your kit. Feel free to send us photos of your impressions before mailing them back, so we can ensure everything is perfect.

What happens if my impression isn’t usable?

If the impression isn’t usable, we’ll notify you. You can retake it, but there will be a $40 fee for a replacement kit.- Please note if you are unsure while making your moulds, please send me photos so i can approve them if you are unsure.

Why are family bar pendants the same cost?, they look bigger!

They may look bigger, however it is just the way the wax is rolled and when three prints are pressed into it and how hard your press, it can make the pendant seem larger, but its all about weight when coming to casting in precious metals, not size! which makes each fingerprint extra unique.

Can I get you to help with the moulds?

Of course, this can deffinatly be an option, as long as you are on the Gold Coast, We can make a time and day and get you and your loved ones in and even pets, I am even happy to take photos of these precious moments getting made too.

Can I get more than 1 type of pendant made?

Yes of course, you can get as many pendants made as you like. at checkout just select the ones you want made and When i send your kit I will add the correct wax in your kit to make the moulds you need.

Can you just get pendants, without chain?

Yes! There is a pendant only option when choosing your pieces. please let me know what chain you will be using and the thickness so i can make the top loop big enough for your chain you have at home.

Is it possible to get multiple pendants of the exact same mould?

Yes! This is our master moulds Ad on option- simply make (1) mould then add the master mould to your cart with your purchase. what this means it you can get this one mould duplicated as many times as you like. this is a great gift option for family members.
