Join Me, Janella for a hands-on jewellery-making experience.

Create your unique piece in wax, with cast-in-place gemstones. Whether it’s a ring, pendant, I’ll guide you every step of the way.

Your creations will be cast into sterling silver, Filed, Polished and finished by myself, then shipped to you or ready for pickup- (Gold Coast, QLD)

What to Expect:

✧Discover the magic of lost wax casting, and what it actually is.
✧Learn to use wax tools.
✧Measure your ring sizes.
✧Craft a simple wax band, and in detail
✧Set mixed gemstones in wax. CZ, Sapphires, Rubies
✧Total creative freedom!
✧Option to make Rings, pendants, Bracelet pendant or earring charms. (Extra piece or jewellery will be $150 up to 10grams)

Included in the Workshop:

✧All tools and materials provided.
✧Selection of gemstones - You may purchase on the day.
✧Wax and up to 10g of sterling silver for your pieces. (Solid Gold available, From $350)
✧Grazing board- I’ll happily accommodate all dietary requirements. ✨

Looking for a more personal jewellery-making experience?

Our private sessions are designed for 1– 4 guests (of the same party), offering a relaxed and intimate experience in the J-LINE studio. Enjoy more one-on-one guidance from Janella as you bring your jewellery design ideas to life.

Your private session includes:

✧ Exclusive use of the studio space
✧ Personal step-by-step guidance throughout your design process
✧ Extra time to create at your own pace (up to 3 hours)
✧ Complimentary grazing board
✧ 1 x gemstone included per person (1–3mm) to incorporate into your design (if you wish to use a larger gem or upgrade to a sapphire the difference in price is just paid on the day)

Perfect for couples, best friends, mother & daughter experiences, birthdays, or anyone wanting a more personalised jewellery-making experience.

If you wish to Bring along your own Gems, there is a $18 cast in fee (which I get charged from the casting house) so that will need to be paid. Also, you bring your own Gems at your own risk, I have no guarantee how they will cast. (I have not had any issues thus far, but anything can happen) They must meet casting requirements!

Additional silver (11–15g) for a more substantial/ chunkier ring or pendant $50 goes up in 5gram increments for the $50 charge.

Materials

✧ 925. solid sterling silver
✧ Feel free to shower in sterling silver, but clean it regularly to prevent tarnish. Sterling silver lasts a lifetime.
✧ 18ct gold vermeil & solid 9ct gold options are available and can be priced once you made your jewellery

Details

✧ Learn & creat a wax mould that will be cast into sterling silver, even learn to set Gems that can be cast into metal.

The Process

✧Once you have booked in, You will receive a email explainging all the info for your workshop class + some inspiring ideas you can create in the class.
✧ On arrival there will be refreshments, nibbles to enjoy, you can mingle with other people in the class.
✧Class will commence I will give you a breif description how the lostwax investment casting works & show you the basics on how to make a ring band and how to set your Gem stones (if using them) I will have other tips and tricks to show you to make the most beautiful unique herilooms that will last you a lifetime.

Care Commandments

Bathe Bare: Although our jewellery can be worn in water we do lightly suggest, Midnight swims and spontaneous dips are for you, not your precious jewellery.

Mind the Chemistry: Precious metals and porous gems like turquoise, quartz crystals & pearls don’t mix with ammonia, chlorine, or chemicals in cleaners, perfumes, and lotions. Spray and lather your lotions into your skin first then bling your body.

Shine with Love: Polish with a 100% cotton cloth or use our jewellery cleaning cloth.

Shipping

After you do the workshop class, it will be about 10-15 days until I will have your beautiful handmade heriloom jewellery ready for postage or collection at the studio in Burleigh.- You will be eamiled once your jewellery is ready.

Each jewellery piece created in our workshops will have its own unique imperfections and organic charm. This is inherent in the beauty of handmade craftsmanship. No two pieces are ever identical, and minor imperfections should be expected and embraced. The final outcome will reflect your personal creativity, making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
